Reiki as a Mindfulness & Relaxation Tool for High-Achieving Women

Do you ever feel like you are carrying a lot of stress or struggling to tune into your own energy? As adults, we often prioritize the needs of others and can forget to take care of ourselves. However, it's essential to prioritize self-care and tune into our own energy, the people around us, and the space we are in.

Reiki is a holistic alternative therapy that can help you relax and release stress, allowing your body systems to move into a state of balance and harmony. Energetic blockages and imbalances can often result in pain, inflammation, or illness, and Reiki works to restore the natural flow of energy in the body, enhancing its natural ability to heal itself.

Think of Reiki as a massage can use gentle touch or can even be completely hands-off. Reiki providers shift and move energy through the body, and practitioners can even do Reiki and energy work virtually. Scientifically, we are a bunch of electrical charges, and energy needs to flow freely to be balanced. However, in seasons of stress, stress hormones get released and dumped into the system, and if there is nowhere for it to go, it can cause energy blockages.

If you are feeling stressed or struggling to tune into your energy, Reiki energy sessions can be incredibly helpful. I crossed paths with someone who recommended I see a Reiki provider, and after my first session, I was hooked.

After my first session, I noticed the practice had relieved some stress I had been carrying for a long time, and I felt lighter and more self-aware afterward.

Reiki is not just about relaxation; it can increase self-awareness and help you tune into what you need to do next. It can be a valuable tool in your resilience toolbox, especially if you are an entrepreneur, in a leadership position, or someone who carries a lot of stress.

If you are intrigued, I encourage you to try Reiki and see if it's a tool that can help you tune into your energy and increase self-awareness.

Remember, at the end of the day, the journey towards awakening your best self comes back to connecting with yourself, and Reiki can help you do just that.
